Success at SToRMFORCE 2024
Thanks to all of the fantastic swimmers who came along to this year's SToRMFORCE meet at WV Active Central, in Wolverhampton.
Over 300 swimmers took part in the event across two days, challenging themselves, representing their clubs and achieving new personal best times, swimming a range of strokes and distances.
Head Coach Lucy Walters said: "We've seen brilliant progress from everyone, and all of our members should be so proud of all that they continue to achieve. We were so pleased to see new faces joining and representing Stourbridge as well as welcoming clubs from all over the Midlands to the event.
"Thank you to all of the coaches, volunteers, and officials that supported and make this event possible."
On the day we were very lucky to be supported by local business owner Richard Leigh Plumbing who donated two hampers and swim favourites, Funky Trunks and Funkita who donated 4, £20 gift vouchers to be raffled at the event.
Across the two day event over 400 spectators attended to cheer on their swimmers and gold, silver and bronze medals were awarded to the top three individuals in each event and age category.
