We're proud to announce a generous £500 donation from Stourbridge Rotary Club, that will fund vital equipment to support young deaf swimmers — including nine-year-old Ted York, a rising star who recently made his competitive debut with GB Deaf Swimming Club. Ted, who was born deaf and received cochlear implants at 18 months old, holds an S15 classification for swimmers with hearing impairments. We had a fantastic evening earlier this month celebrating all of our wonderful swimmers achievements at this years club championships! Over 170 members of our swimming community and their families attended the evening at Luxor Events, where everyone enjoyed a disco, fish and chip dinner, awards ceremony and raffle. Swimmers aged 9+ all came along to recieve their awards for their achievements at club championships where those who came in first, second or third place in each race were awarded a medal. Thanks to all of the fantastic swimmers who came along to this year's SToRMFORCE meet at WV Active Central, in Wolverhampton.
